Soulful photos
for kind humans
I call myself a visual anthropologist.
It’s your true story. I get to witness it. Your love. Your traditions. Your favorite breakfast. Your best pup. Your strength. Your tenderness. All parts of you deserve to be witnessed.

Life is beautiful, complicated, chaotic, holy. The best photographs honor all of these parts. I’m drawn to the things that come to be, that could never be planned. Unscripted, subtle, unfiltered, tenderness that can’t be staged.
My work is for people who want their real story documented with honesty, warmth, and ease.
I create space for you to relax, connect, and bring all of you. If you need a gentle nudge or a bit of direction, I’m happy to guide you, and I also want you to unfurl in the ways that feel natural.
My love for documenting life through my camera began in 2008, when I was living in Amsterdam as a nanny and started photographing the family I cared for. I was captivated by the rhythm of their everyday life—the way connection reveals itself in tiny, unrepeatable moments. I never stopped.
I’m an empathetic, egalitarian photographer for people celebrating both the big milestones and the quiet, everyday moments of growth. I love working with folks who aren’t afraid to let me into sacred spaces…..your home, your rhythms, your real life. I’m a lover of shadows and soft light, unbothered by chaos or mess, and endlessly curious about overlooked beauty—flowers that pop through in an alley, dust sparkling in sunlight, the way someone softens when they’re seen.
My eye is always searching for the good and the true— anything that deserves a place in your time capsule. My hope is that your photographs grow more meaningful with every passing year, becoming the kind of images that take you right back to “the good old days”
“Luke and Rachel’s relationship is a vehicle of precious experience, of unanswered and open questions, a vehicle that they have built over a decade-long conversation with one another and that they will ride, lord-willing, into the far future.” - a bit of the ceremony written by Ben, brother of the groom.
I am drawn to
people who feel deeply and communicate honestly • value presence over performance • are willing to look at themselves with compassion • crave connection over convenience • lead with kindness and curiosity • are generous, open-hearted “yes” people • are ready to be seen
and definitely say “thank you”
I believe in celebrating when love feels like home.
you are the art.
we co-create magic because we are both showing up with our hearts open and eyes lookin’ for the good.
